• Ignore Properties of BYLAYER

In DWG or DXF files, the color, LineType, and line weight of elements can have a special property of BYLAYER. In this case, the elements inherit the properties of the layer on which they lie. If the "Ignore properties of BYLAYER" option is activated, the filter color selection determines the visible color, Linetype or line weight of an element. The name BYLAYER is ignored.

 

• Apply to Layer Definition

The filter and the transformations of the properties are stretched out to the layer definitions themselves. For example, when converting a red color to a yellow color, the red layer will be converted to yellow if the option is activated.

 

• Apply to Drawing Elements

The filter and the transformations of the properties are stretched out on the drawing elements (lines, texts, arcs, etc.) and not to the layers. For example, when converting a red color to a yellow color, the red line will be converted to yellow only if the option is activated.

 

• Delete Element

 “Delete Element” will delete the selected element from the DWG / DXF file.

 

• Lock Element for Further Changes

You can label converted objects as "no longer changing" in the conversion tables with "Lock Elements for further conversions". These objects are then no longer considered in the next rows of the conversion table.

 

• Unlock Element

An item is unlocked for further conversions.
